Key Benefits:

Red root is valued for its astringent properties and ability to support the lymphatic system. It is particularly effective for addressing fluid stagnation, lax tissues, excessive mucus secretions, and swollen lymph nodes. Its astringency makes it useful for post-nasal drip, hemorrhoids, and sinusitis. As a gargle, red root is also excellent for soothing tonsillitis and sore throats. As a lymphagogue, it targets the spleen and lymphatic congestion and is used for conditions such as cystic breast disease and lymphadenitis.
